Love is…

  • when it’s raining and you need to go from the car to the house “I’ll unlock the door first, then you come.”
  • when there’s two people and an odd amount of bacon, giving the other person the extra piece
  • “drive safe”
  • someone surprising you with your favorite drink
  • “here, you take the bigger piece”
  • adding songs to your playlist that you know your friends enjoy listening to
  • “let me know when you get home”
  • random hugs or touches
  • “Your breakfast is ready”
  • when you’re walking and the other person moves to the outside towards the road
  • someone opening the car door for you
  • doing something specifically because you know the other person appreciates it, even when you don’t get excited over it

Have a Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas!!

I pray everyone has a lovely day celebrating with family and friends, new or old. Whatever you are doing today, take specific time to be grateful for everything we have been blessed with, good and bad.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God sent his only Son, Jesus, to Earth as a little baby to grow up with mankind and eventually give his life on a cross for all humanity. He would die on the cross after a terrible, awful Roman torturing. He would be buried in a tomb and then rise from the dead three days later, thus conquering death, sin, and the devil!

We will still sin. We will still struggle. We will eventually die. BUT if we believe that Jesus came to earth, died, and rose again and we accept his gift of forgiveness, recognizing we are ever so sinful and incapable of living a perfect life on our own, we are written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life and saved a place in Heaven with God forever!

Enjoy this day with whoever you are with! I hope you have a very wonderful day filled with smiles and joy, good food and love! 🙂
