Proverbs 2:3-5

Indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

Proverbs 2:3-5

The words the author uses here create such vivid pictures in my mind. The idea of calling out and crying aloud show serious dedication to whatever you’re calling for. It brings the image of someone on their knees in desperation calling out in dire need for help. Hunting for silver or for treasure, you have to be ready to get down and dirty. It takes time to find a hidden treasure, so you have to be ready to put in a good chunk of time to find understanding.

Mark 5:36

Don’t be afraid. Just believe.

Mark 5:36

He can take wild and unthinkable situations and turn them around into something beautiful. He raised a dead little girl back to life. That’s a wild scenario if I’ve ever heard of one. We can’t even begin to imagine what all he has prepared for us.

Be watchful and trusting.

I am everything because nothing in my life is beyond resurrection and nothing in my life is too dead for his healing touch to fix it.
