I pray everyone has a lovely day celebrating with family and friends, new or old. Whatever you are doing today, take specific time to be grateful for everything we have been blessed with, good and bad.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God sent his only Son, Jesus, to Earth as a little baby to grow up with mankind and eventually give his life on a cross for all humanity. He would die on the cross after a terrible, awful Roman torturing. He would be buried in a tomb and then rise from the dead three days later, thus conquering death, sin, and the devil!
We will still sin. We will still struggle. We will eventually die. BUT if we believe that Jesus came to earth, died, and rose again and we accept his gift of forgiveness, recognizing we are ever so sinful and incapable of living a perfect life on our own, we are written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life and saved a place in Heaven with God forever!
Enjoy this day with whoever you are with! I hope you have a very wonderful day filled with smiles and joy, good food and love! 🙂

As a wrap up to the wonderful week of celebrating we have had (well, at least that I have had) I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you to everyone who has read my posts this past week, at random times throughout the last year, and aaaall the way back to the beginning. This has been a wild time and I have learned quite a lot. You have been here reading whatever wildness I throw your way week after week without complaining. (at least not to me 😉 ) You have been encouraging when I felt low. You have smiled and cheered with me when I was feeling great. You compared books and food, movies and ideas with me. There literally wouldn’t be a blog without you because I would never have continued this if no one was reading it. So again, thank you from the bottom of me for reading along and chatting with me on each post. 🙂
Here’s to many more posts and another celebration next year!
