TAGGED: Give Thanks for all the Great Reads

Thanksgiving is almost here! Can you believe it? I feel like I just traded my shorts for boots and here I am getting ready to sit down with the family and eat way too much food!

I am over the moon with excitement about this post because it’s a new thing for me. I created this book tag!! I never thought I would do something like that, but then one day I just decided….

heck, I could do this!

So here is my fun Thanksgiving tag that I hope you all enjoy and share with your friends!!

Short and sweet rules:

  • make sure to tag me as the creator (because I want to see everyone’s answers and make my TBR even longer…) Abbey @ Three Cats and a Girl
  • make sure to tag the lovely blogger who tagged you (because they also love lengthening their TBR)
  • Give something that you are thankful for this year at the end of the post!
  • tag as many or as few bloggers as you like!

You Turkey! ~ a book that made you laugh

Food: A Love Story by Jim Gaffigan. I love food and he has written a completely hysterical story about food. If you enjoy eating at all, you’ve got to read this book!

I’m Stuffed ~ a book that completely satisfied you

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. This book…..oh my word….just absolutely lovely. I was so happy reading this book.

Pumpkin Pie ~ the book you are looking forward to reading next

The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena. First off, the cover for this book is super cool. Second, the blurbs I’ve read for this….make me start to question my neighbors. You never really know some people.

Go Team! ~ a book where you found yourself really cheering for a certain character

Mansfield Park by Jane Austen. I couldn’t help but cheer and hoorah for Fanny the entire way through this book.

Macy’s Day Parade ~ a book that’s always there waiting on the bookshelf to be read and you know you’ll get to it eventually

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. I’ve heard so many good things about this book and I really do want to read it. I just am intimidated. So I keep putting it off.

Traditions ~ a book you could/do reread every year because it’s so dang good

Dracula by Bram Stoker. I’ve only read it once, but I want to read it again!! It was excellent. Like pure gold.

I’m Thankful For ~ a book that really helped you in life

Live Fearless: A Call to Power, Passion, and Purpose by Sadie Robertson. READ THIS BOOK. I struggled a lot earlier this year with fear, doubts, insecurities and this book helped me knock those back and remind me of the truth. Please find this book and read it!!

I am so thankful this year for second chances and patient people. I’ve been given a wonderful opportunity again this year and I went for it. Best decision I’ve made in a long time!

And that’s my Give Thanks tag!! Now, I want you to participate!
