Here’s a charming way to blog about wintery and Christmasy ideas to put yourself in the festive spirit without feeling like you have to blog every single day! ❄️🎄

Guidelines ~

  • use the image provided in each post, so that way anyone who might jump in later can see what the plan is for the month.
  • for sure link back to me, Abbey@ThreeCatsandaGirl, so that way I can celebrate your Christmas with you and maybe get some ideas of how to create festive enjoyment!
  • spread Christmas cheer in the way you know best and have some fun!

So without further ado….

12 Days of Christmas!!

I’d have to say I’m a glove type of gal!! I like to be able to have my fingers individual so I can use them. I have debated numerous times about knitting myself a pair of mittens and wearing them over my gloves in the extreme cold. I just might have to do that this year!🧤

12 Days of Christmas!!

I am writing about the ‘Favorite Things’ gift exchange! I don’t know if you’ve ever participated in this before or even heard of it, but it’s marvelous really. I heard about it from my aunt as they did it at her work place. If you haven’t heard of this….this is how it works. You gather how many ever people you want to participate (coworkers at the office, family members, friends, whatever) and then you each figure out your favorite thing (that costs like max 3 bucks). It can be your favorite whatever from any area of life. Then you get one for each member participating. So, for example, in my office last year we had 10 participants. One of my favorite things is cooking, so I bought packs of recipe cards and gave some to each participant with a favorite recipe of mine. So I gave out 9 presents. As each participant does the same thing, everyone will receive 9 small presents of sorts that is a favorite of someone in the office. So it’s a neat way to get everyone a present without having to think of 9 individually specific presents, it’s fairly inexpensive (if you follow the max $3 rule), and it’s an absolute blast to see what everyone else brings in. It was the sweetest!
